Young trees will be planted in the area where burials have taken place that year. These new areas of planting will create small new blocks of woodland that will mature in less regimented patterns to appear more natural than trees planted in rows.
These new blocks of woodland will progresively fill the field from east to west, linking woodland at each end to form a continuous corridor for wildlife.
